Sagres Fortress is strategically positioned on a peninsula in the very south-western corner of Portugal. From here you have 360 degree views out into the Atlantic Ocean all the way to the Straight of Gibraltar. While walking the outer walls, we snapped this photo of the old church within the fortress.
